Shamed Wales second row Alun-Wyn Jones keeps his place for Saturday's RBS 6 nations match between Wales and Scotland at the Millenium Stadium, but coach Warren Gatland has made changes elsewhere in the line-up.

It was thought that Jones might be dropped for the Scotland showdown, but he has avoided the humiliation of being axed. The two changes that Gatland has made see Cardiff Blues wing Leigh Halfpenny returning to the side at the expense of his Blues colleague Tom James and Ospreys forward Jonathan Thomas replacing Jones' second-row partner at Twickenham, Luke Charteris. Charteris pays the price for a poor performance by the Welsh lineout against England.
Prop Gethin Jenkins, who missed the England match due to a calf muscle injury, is one of five Blues players named on the bench although he faces further fitness checks later this week. Scrum-half and hooker were also positions that Gatland was expected to consider, but Blues pairing of Gareth Cooper and Gareth Williams have both retained their places.
